After 11 weeks of refurbishment, hard work and more than a few unexpected challenges, Patisserie Valerie Silverburn has officially reopened in Glasgow.
The newly transformed café at Silverburn Shopping Centre marks an exciting new chapter for the store and another important step in the continued evolution of Patisserie Valerie as we invest in our cafés, develop our customer experience and grow our network across the UK.
For the team behind the project, however, reopening morning was about much more than a new look.

Over the past few months, the Silverburn team has navigated changing plans, moving dates and the inevitable challenges that come with a major café refurbishment.
Throughout it all, their patience, resilience and commitment have been outstanding.
Before the doors reopened, there was an opportunity to bring the team together and recognise everything that had gone into reaching that moment.
Projects like Silverburn are never delivered by one person or one department. Colleagues across Operations, Design, Marketing, IT, Procurement and Supply Chain, together with our external partners and the café team itself, have all played a part in bringing the new Patisserie Valerie Silverburn to life.
And then the doors opened.
Within minutes, familiar faces began returning.
Customers who had been asking when we would reopen. Customers who had genuinely missed visiting the café. Customers for whom Patisserie Valerie has become part of a regular shopping trip, family day out or weekly routine.
That response was a powerful reminder of what hospitality is really about.

Of course, we are proud of our cakes, patisserie, food and coffee.
But cafés are about much more than what is on the plate.

The refurbishment has given Patisserie Valerie Silverburn in Glasgow a beautiful new café environment designed to build on everything customers already know and love about the brand.

Silverburn is also introducing Valerie Kitchen, extending our food offer into the early evening and supporting our ambition to develop Patisserie Valerie as an all-day café destination.
