Delivery

Our Blue Ombre Rosette Cake is baked fresh, then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport and, of course, to ensure it tastes completely fresh for your special occasion. You will need to defrost your cake before consumption, you can do this overnight in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours. This cake is encased in delicious Swiss buttercream which tastes best at room temperature, so we recommend taking your cake out of the fridge thirty minutes before serving. Please note - in order to keep your cake standing tall, we have used cake dowels in the bottom tier, and a cake board under the top tier. Please take care to remove these when serving your cake.

Delicious Cake!

We were not disappointed with this cake- it was exactly as described and pictured. Most guests commented it was the best cake they’ve ever eaten- light and fluffy cake, fresh strawberry filling, and as can be the case with cakes, not overly sweet. The only criticism is that we had the cake delivered directly to our venue, but the courier (DPD) only provided 1 hour delivery time slot on the day, which you couldn’t even indicate preference for morning or afternoon delivery, and the courier left the cake on a table outside the premises as it was not yet open. Thankfully, a member of staff was actually present and did find it before it was stolen. Also worth bearing in mind that the cake is delivered frozen and requires defrosting overnight- whilst the venue placed the cake as instructed in the fridge (it was in there overnight for 24 hours before the event) it was not fully defrosted, and so some guests thought it was an ice cream cake (even so, it was still great!).
