Purchased for a birthday, came exactly as described. Packaging was excellent, the outside box was dented from delivery but the inside box was untouched due to how it was packaged. Followed the instructions and put the cake in the fridge as soon as it arrived for party next afternoon - cake was incredibly soft and not too sweet, colours were vibrant. All compliments and second slices!

The cake was very beautiful. It also was delicious! The sponge was perfect - light and airy. There was just enough cream not to overpower the strawberries. It was one of the best cakes we as a family have ever had!
The cake arrived safely, was so easy to handle, I was worried about the defrost but it defrosted as if it had just been made! It was a hit there wasn’t one slice left my guest and myself absolutely loved it, would definitely buy again and recommend to friends and family for future events!

This was my first time ordering a cake here but it will definitely not be the last as the matcha and raspberry cake was so delicious. The sponge is super light but still moist, all the creams are a delight, just the right amount of sweetness and very fresh. The matcha flavor comes through clearly and pairs really nicely with the raspberries. The cake arrived very securely packaged and it was still chilled nicely.
I treated myself to a tea for two, complete with perfectly sized, delicious cakes. If you plan to order any cakes for delivery, please place your order the day before so they have enough time to be prepared. Patisserie Valerie kindly permitted me to change my initial reservation date.
The Raspberry ripple cake was very tasty & it was presented just like the photo.
The delivery from DPD was awful though. The box was completely battered & broken and if was left on its side. If looked like they had thrown it on the doorstep from a mile away! Thankfully it wasn’t on its side for long as my husband was home for the delivery.
I recommend you change your delivery arrangements as they will wreck your business.
I ordered the cake on the 8th June ready for my wife’s birthday on the 20th. It didn’t arrive until my family had home and the was delivered upside down thus ruining what was an expensive cake so i had to go and buy another.
I will not be using this company again

The cake looked amazing when I opened the box and tasted just as good as it looked. It was incredibly moist, rich, and full of flavour. What really caught my attention was the filling, which was different from their usual offerings and the main reason I chose it. The combination of chocolate, marshmallow, and biscuit worked perfectly together, giving it that classic s’mores flavour while still feeling indulgent and special.

Ordered for my Mum's 50th Birthday cake. Honestly couldn't have been happier with the cake itself. It was soft, fluffy and light on the stomach! Not one bite was left and veryone commented on the rich flavour and melt in your mouth texture.
