Really soft and smooth but full of chocolate flavour, It's become a family favourite!!
I ordered this cake at the same day as proposing to my now fiancé. It came to our house early morning, which is good. I was worried that the cake could come out as "dented" but it was in perfect shape. Only issue is it was slightly frozen when I proposed, so we had to wait for a couple of hours before gorging the cake down in one go. It's definitely delicious and worth every penny!
I was skeptical about a cake arriving by post but it was amazing! Arrived perfect and all our wedding guests said it was delicious. Would 100% order again.

After ordering the cake weeks in advance, I was worried it wouldnt arrived on the exact date I had expressed. But the day before intended delivery, I received notification my cake was being baked. And the next day, it was delivered. Perfectly timed. It arrived in excellent condition and beautifully fresh. It was delicious - light and full of fruity flavour. Really impressed with the quality and service.
Beautiful cake! Arrived on time in perfect condition for my son’s 16th birthday. Thawed it out at room temperature - I did forget to order it a day in advance to defrost in the fridge! Would recommend that! It was lovely to have a European style sponge, rather than the traditional English/American sponge. Much more indulgent and dessert like.
Ordered this cake in pink for my birthday and I’m so glad I did. Beautiful details on the cake, perfect size for only three of us and the taste was delicious, I recommend.

The elderflower & rose cake was as pretty as a picture and tasted divine! A soft floral look and the most delicate of flavours to match.
Arrived well packaged, frozen. Suoer convenient as we took it on a 4 hour road trip to where we were celebrating my daughters birthday. The cake was as beautiful as the picture and the taste lived up to its good looks im pleased to say! It gave us 14 generous portions, it was light and delicious. I will definitely order again for our next soecial occasion. Highly recommend.

Wonderful looking and tasting cake more of a ice cream type of cake than a victoria sponge type of cake the children and adults alike loved it more of a gateux still delicious

Great looking cake, very celebratory. Moist sponge, not too sweet. Could have more sponge and less buttercream. Still a fun celebration cake to share with friends and family.
We had an issue with the delivery and the cake arrived defrosted and it was obviously moved and smashed so a new cake was delivered just on the day of the birthday party. Thank you Lynn @ The PV Team for finding a solution that worked for us!

I was expecting the cake to be quite rich but oh my goodness, it was so fluffy and light. Definitely a winner for my mums 60th. Will be buying from here again!
