My son really wanted a rainbow cake for his birthday, which is way out of my cake making abilities. My friend suggested patisserie Valerie and it couldn’t have been better. All the kids absolutely loved it and so did the parents, many going back for 2nd, 3rd and some 4th helpings! Gorgeous, light and fluffy, just stunning design and Fast delivery. The delivery was less than expected, the driver just left the gateau (in full sun) without even ringing the very visible doorbell, which, due to the recent weather, would have been unacceptable, had we not actually heard a van drive away.
I have pointed this out to Patisserie Valerie, but both my emails have been "deleted without reading" which is not what I would have expected from this company.
Had ordered a similar cake elsewhere for my mum’s 60th and sadly the baker was unable to make it at late notice. This cake from Patisserie Valerie was the perfect replacement at last minute! Ordered for my partners birthday yesterday. To anyone ordering you won't be disappointed there wasn't a slice left in our house. Both the sponge as icing is so light and the flavour from the mango and passionfruit is yummy
The cake arrived in a box with dry ice. Followed instructions as directed. The cake itself was lovely and light and everyone loved it. It was beautiful and looked beautiful when we took to our mum for her birthday. She loved it.
Very Happy with every step, delivery on time, well packaged and kept frozen. Cake was fresh & tasted fantastic, it ended the night on a high which was the intention with some good memories! Would leave a picture but it was eaten too quickly.
Delicious and stylish looking cake. Lovely layers of sponge and honey cream filling. Honey sweet rather than sugar sweet. Tasty pistachio and raspberry topping for a bit of texture/crunch. Easy to cut - can do rectangle or square slices as you prefer. Everyone loved this.
Beautiful cake, tastes delicious, handy coming frozen so it has the whole day to defrost kept it's shoe stopping display. Highly recommend. Well packaged , bit pricey but oh my goodness it was worth it
