Why We Love This

An elegant and sophisticated two-tier wedding cake is the perfect centrepiece for your special day. This beautifully versatile cake will compliment any colour scheme, or you can add your finishing own touches.

Each tier is comprised of three layers of Patisserie Valerie’s supreme plain sponge filled with luscious rings of fresh cream and strawberry compote filling. The cake is coated in silky Swiss meringue buttercream with hand carved rustic grooves indented around the sides.

Serves 36 portions.

Please note - in order to keep your cake standing tall, we have used cake dowels in the bottom tier, and a cake board under the top tier. Please take care to remove these when serving your cake. This cake consists of one 8" sponge and one 6"sponge.

Delivery

Our Rustic Chic Wedding Cake is baked fresh, then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport and, of course, to ensure it tastes completely fresh for your special occasion. You will need to defrost your cake before consumption, you can do this overnight in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours. This cake is encased in delicious Swiss buttercream which tastes best at room temperature, so we recommend taking your cake out of the fridge thirty minutes before serving.

Lovely cake for golden anniversary

Our cake was lovely and light, not too sweet and everyone loved it.
It defrosted perfectly in the fridge the following morning I added some gold leaf and fresh flowers from our florist.
