This Pride Month, we’re celebrating every kind of love with our colourful Rainbow Cake, and we’re proud to be partnering with Birmingham LGBT to support their work across the city throughout June.
Patisserie Valerie has been baking for celebrations since 1926, when Madame Valerie opened her first patisserie in Soho. Pride feels like one of those celebrations — colourful, generous, and meant to be shared.

The Rainbow Cake
Our Rainbow Cake is made the way every Patisserie Valerie celebration cake is: properly. Five layers of supremely soft sponge, layered with rainbow-coloured vanilla fresh cream and finished with silky Swiss meringue buttercream, a rainbow funfetti border, multicoloured chocolate drips and seven hand-piped buttercream swirls on top. Slice through, and the colours sing.
It’s a cake for sharing — at a Pride brunch, an office afternoon tea, a kitchen-table get-together, or any celebration that deserves a bit of colour.
