Nationwide delivery information

This delicious cake is available for nationwide next day home delivery when you order by 4pm weekdays and 2pm Saturdays. You can get it delivered straight to your front door from our bakery, or you can send a cake gift to a cake lover to let them know you’re thinking of them! The cake is baked fresh and then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport, and of course to ensure it tastes as fresh as possible for your celebration. Our Swiss meringue buttercream tastes best at room temperature, so we recommend taking your cake out of the fridge thirty minutes before serving. Defrosting is recommended in refrigerated temperatures and will take a minimum of 6 hours.

Beautiful Victoria sponge

Referring to my previous review of the lemon meringue sponge, I can confirm we did manage to eat most of the Victoria sponge, in spite of the damage caused by DPD. This one was absolutely delicious, really can't fault it. Sponge was beautifully fluffy, the cream and fruit were lovely. I said in the last review I wouldn't be ordering again, but the family have insisted as we have another small event next week, so I relented. I do wish you wouldn't use DPD for whole cakes though as they're atrocious in my area. We shall see in what state the next order arrives!
