Delivery

This delicious cake is available for nationwide next day home delivery when you order by 4pm weekdays and 2pm Saturdays. You can get it delivered straight to your front door from our bakery, or you can send a cake gift to a cake lover to let them know you’re thinking of them! The cake is baked fresh and then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport, and of course to ensure it tastes as fresh as possible for your celebration. You will need to defrost your cake before consumption. Defrosting is recommended in refrigerated temperatures and will take a minimum of 6 hours.

Needs improving

The cake is small, so really only serves 8-10, depending on how generous a slice you want!
It looks delicious and is presented well. The frosting and the nuts on the top are delicious. The overall flavour was good. However, the green pistachio filling isn't smooth. It's actually over crunchy, almost gritty like crushed up M&Ms. The nuts on top are like regular pistachios, crunchy but slightly soft. (Like the nuts on the strawberry cake) the filling doesn't work with the sponge, which is light and fluffy, but not much flavour. For a thick crunchy filling, I personally feel that a denser chocolate cake would have worked better. The light sponge was overpowered by the gritty filling. I wouldn't recommend this cake, but that's personal preference.
Not as good as other PV cakes.
