On arrival, two of the three butterflies were broken and not the variation of decoration shown in the pictures.
But, the instructions for defrosting were spot on and the cake looked lovely and glossy.
The cake was amazing - delicious, light chocolatey sponge with not too overly sweet chocolate cream. Perfect 30th birthday cake. Thank you.

Ordered as a gift so I cannot say, myself, how these cakes taste but I have been told that the Brownie was "delish" so I guess it's good !!!!!!

Brought for my daughters 10th birthday, we needed a vegan cake as one of the party goers is allergic to milk and another eggs, my daughter isnt a fan of icing. So this cake was perfect, it was lovely on the eye and tastebuds, lots of positive feedback from the party guests and my daughter loved it, not to sweet not sickly just delicious. Ordered the Assorted Pistachio, Raspberry and Salted Caramel Macarons Gift Box for a friend. Notwithstanding the DPD delivery driver throwing the 'This Way Up' box over our front gate onto its side 20 metres from anywhere resembling the 'Safe Place' also written on the box as the right place to deliver it, the contents of the box turned out to contain the wrong order!?....a Pistachio and Raspberry Cake, fortunately undamaged. On notifying PV customer services of this 'caketastrophe', they immediately dispatched the correct macaron order which arrived the next day and suggested that we enjoy the cake (double the value of our order) in the meantime at their pleasure. What can I say? Delicious cake AND macarons and superb customer service. 6 stars! Thank you PV. The picture shows the a photo of the cake inset into a photo of the macarons....NOT TO SCALE! The cake is MUCH bigger! :)

We bought your Victoria sponge for a large family birthday BBQ (16 of us) on 17 August. The cake arrived just as ordered, carefully wrapped. And looked gorgeous, as expected! It came out from the kitchen in a procession of children as the finale to the party - everyone agreed it was delicious.
