Delivery

This delicious cake is available for nationwide next day home delivery when you order by 4pm weekdays and 2pm Saturdays. You can get it delivered straight to your front door from our bakery, or you can send a cake gift to a cake lover to let them know you’re thinking of them! The cake is baked fresh and then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport, and of course to ensure it tastes as fresh as possible for your celebration. You will need to defrost your cake before consumption. Defrosting is recommended in refrigerated temperatures and will take a minimum of 6 hours.

Perfect Solstice Treat!

Delivery was on time and despite the box being "plopped" on the concrete outside my door from about 6 inches height, the cake itself was packed so well that it was perfect. The physical delivery of a cake is out of PV's control so the stars given are fully and well earned by PV.

I have tried a few of the cakes here over the last 6 months or so and this was my first time ordering one myself and the whole process from start to finish was great. I had an issue with trying to get a discount code to work and a simple email for help was promptly dealt with very professionally, yet friendly.

The cake itself is one of the smaller ones yes, but it packs a lot of flavour and texture in there - its gorgeous. I bought it for Litha and it was a perfect Summery Solstice cake! Juicy pineapple centre, light coconut sponge, fluffy cream and one of the best "icings" I have ever had; smooth and just compliments the cake perfectly.

All the cakes I have tried from PV have been amazing and I highly recommend them. Since I have had the full experience as a customer now and not just a cake snaffler, I can thoroughly recommend the company too - this is definitely my go-to place for special cakes now.

Looking forward to the next celebration, Lughnasadh, at the beginning of August, my sister and I have started this tradition now of a special cake to suit each one throughout the year... gotta be done!
