Delivery

This delicious cake is available for nationwide next day home delivery when you order by 4pm weekdays and 2pm Saturdays. You can get it delivered straight to your front door from our bakery, or you can send a cake gift to a cake lover to let them know you’re thinking of them! The cake is baked fresh and then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport, and of course to ensure it tastes as fresh as possible for your celebration. You will need to defrost your cake before consumption. Defrosting is recommended in refrigerated temperatures and will take a minimum of 6 hours.

Very tasty cake.

Before anything, I want you to know we loved the cake very much. It is a good flavour mix between rose and elderflower. Thank you very much.
Now to give some advice please. I am a chef with Micheline star experience so any advice is from a professional perspective and to help you provide that enhanced experience I would love to receive for myself and my loved ones.
The cake didn't have that ring of flowers which you advertise in the presentation photo.
A smoother finish of the icing will put the cake in a higher class.
The flavours were not punching enough, it made me feel it was made many days ago. So a bit more essence of the elderflower and rose. And even though you know of the order many days before, try and don't do it too far ahead.
I could tell there was some syrup in the sponge, but the top 2 layers of sponge were dry, so the freshness effect was not there. Allow your stock syrup to reach a bit higher temperature to make it more viscous. This will help it lock in the sponge.
In description you say it will be delivered on dry ice. It was not. So if you can't always provide the dry ice, at least remove it from the description. If I'm not told of such, I won't expect it.

After all this, next year will order again. The cake it's a winner and executed nicely it can be amazing.
